Cavazos won the uneven bars with a score of 9.90, which tied her season high. She tied for first on the floor exercise with a 9.825 and the all around title at 38.75.
Freshman MaryAnne Kelley and sophomore Shanyn Lancaster tied for the vault title at 9.70. Senior Cathy Keyser, the 1998 Big Ten balance beam champion, won the beam at 9.775. Freshman Catie Christensen tied Cavazos for the floor exercise title at 9.825.
