LEWIS EARNS THIRD BIG TEN PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONOR

wMinnesota senior forward Quincy Lewis earned his third Big Ten Player of the Week honor after scoring 71 points on the week, including 27 in a 62-48 win against Purdue and 31 in a 58-51 win at Northwestern. Lewis earned Big Ten Player of the Week honors with Penn State1s Joe Crispin. In addition, Lewis won the Big Ten scoring title with a 25.5 ppg average in the conference. Lewis scored 95 points more than his nearest competitior.
