MINNESOTA'S JOEY CORR NAMED ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICAN

University of Minnesota cross country runner Joey Corr was named to the 1998 Men's NCAA All-Academic Cross Country Team. The award is presented by the United States Cross Country Coaches Association.

Corr, a redshirt freshman from Redmond, Wash. has a GPA of 3.32 and majoring in pre-business. He was the Big Ten Conference's top-placing freshman at the 1998 Big Ten Cross Country Championships held in Ann Arbor, Mich., back in November.
