Freshman Karyn Stordahl recorded her second straight round of 76 and finished at 236, tying for 28th place. Junior Katie Bakken placed 43rd at 242. Minnesota's other scorers were sophomores Megan Stier (247, 54th) and Cindy Cannon (248, 58th).
Purdue won the team competition, finishing at 896, five strokes better than host Wisconsin. Purdue's Stacy Orschell earned medalist honors by recording her second round of 71 for the tournament and finishing at 1-over- par 217.
The Lady Northern Invitational, which featured all 11 Big Ten schools in the field of 16 teams, serves as a course preview for the Big Ten Women's Golf Championship, which will be held in Madison in April.
