Finley and McCauley Earn WGCA All-American Scholar Honors

FRISCO, Texas – Minnesota women's golfers Lauryn Finley and Isabella McCauley were named to the WGCA All-American Scholar Honors Team by the Women's Golf Coaches Association Monday.
"Great way to end the year for Bella and Lauryn," said head coach Matt Higgins. "I know they both put in just as much work off the course as they do on the course! It's great to see them get recognized for their achievements in the classroom!"
Freshman Lauryn Finley and Senior Isabella McCauley join the 2025-26 WGCA All-American Scholar Team alongside 1,551 women's collegiate golfers. Finley collected the honor for the first time in her career, while McCauley earned the recognition for the fourth consecutive season.
To be eligible, the student-athlete must excel in both the classroom and on the golf course. The criteria for each student-athlete include a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or greater as well as participation in 50% of the team's competitive rounds during the year.
