NIMTZ LEADS MAROON TO VICTORY IN ANNUAL INTRASQUAD MEET

Covering the 4,000-meter course in 14 minutes, 43 seconds, Nimtz won by nearly 20 seconds. She was followed by teammates junior Elaine Eggleston, 15:02, and sophomore Chrissy Eid, 15:07.
Senior Deborah Hudleston led the Gold by placing fourth in 15:38. Sophomore teammate Victoria Moses was fifth in, 15:45, while frosh Anita Menden placed sixth, 15:55.
Minnesota begins its 1999 season next Friday when they host Drake in a dual meet, which gets underway at 4 p.m.
