After being outshot in the opening 20 minutes, Minnesota had a 30-14 advantage in shots on goal over the next two periods, outshooting its hosts 39-24. Erica Killewald made 23 saves to earn the victory.

The two teams close out their home-and-home series on Sunday at 3:05 p.m. at Mariucci Arena.
