Logistics of the Meet
The women's-only meet will have a 16-event order, with five freestyle events, two events each in backstroke, butterfly and breaststroke, an individual medley, two relays and two diving events. The exact distances will be determined early this week.
Intrasquad Review
The Gold team defeated the Maroon team 143-100 in the annual Minnesota intrasquad meet at the University Aquatic Center/Dorothy L. Sheppard Pool. The Gold team had three athletes win two events each. Senior Ann Cahoy (Hudson, Wis./Hudson) won the 100 backstroke and the 200 backstroke, senior Tracy LaVoi (St. Cloud, Minn./Tech) won 1-meter and 3-meter diving, and first-year athlete Juleen Rodakowski (Rochester, Minn./Century) won the 100 butterfly and the 200 butterfly. The Maroon team had one double-winner, as first-year athlete Carol Crouthamel (Southampton, Penn./Archbishop Wood) won the 200 breaststroke and the 200 individual medley.
