Laurie Seidl at the 88:27 mark to force the overtime periods. Seidl netted her seventh goal of the season, heading in a free kick from Meghan Jones. Patrice Feulner had given the Sun Devils the lead with an unassisted goal at the 61:27 mark.

Minnesota goalkeeper Julie Eibensteiner stopped three shots in the overtime periods and collected 10 saves for the match. The Gophers had four shots on goal in the second overtime but was unable to tally the game winner. Arizona State finished the match with a 17-16 edge in shots.

The Gophers complete their regular season schedule with an 8-9-1 record. Minnesota is the No. 8 seed for the Big Ten Tournament, hosted by Illinois on Nov. 2-5. The Gophers will play top-seeded and Big Ten champion Penn State on Thursday, Nov. 2 at noon.
