ROWERS NINTH IN OPEN 8 AT HEAD OF THE IOWA

Minnesota's A boat placed ninth in the Open 8 event at the Head of the Iowa Regatta in Iowa City, Iowa. Iowa won the race in a time of 14 minutes, 3.91 seconds, while Wisconsin's A boat was second in 14:22.66. The Golden Gophers finished in 15:07.66. Minnesota's B boat was 16th in 15:41.75.

Minnesota placed 12th in the Open 4 race in 17:46.88. Iowa's C boat was first in 15:38.43.

In the Novice 8 race, the Gophers' A boat placed third in 16:31.46. Minnesota's C boat was seventh and the B boat was 11th.
