RICKERT SIGNS WITH MINNESOTA

DulutDultuh East's Rick Rickert has signed a national letter of intent to play with the Golden Gophers next season. He signed the letter of intent this afternoon in front of friends and family at the Duluth East High School Gymnasium.

Rickert is ranked as one of the top ten recruits in the country by nearly every national recruiting service, including a No. 8 ranking by Rivals100hoops.com. The 6-10 forward averaged 29 points per game last season for the Greyhounds.

Prior to signing Rickert, the Golden Gophers' recruiting class was already ranked 21st in the nation and fourth best in the Big Ten by Van Coleman's Future Stars recruiting service.
