Kerri McEwen scored at nine minutes, 55 seconds of the opening period but Nadine Muzerall, who collected three goals on the night, scored on the power play at 14:22. Her second goal came with 1:58 left in the opening period and Courtney Kennedy scored 40 seconds later.

Tracy Engstrom's short-handed goal was the only marker of the second period before a five-goal third period, sparked by La Toya Clarke's hat trick, put the game away.

Besides her hat trick, giving her seven goals in her last three games, Muzerall added an assist and tied a school record with 12 shots on goal.
