nThe Minnesota women's swimming and diving is 11th after the first day of the Texas Invitational in Austin, Texas. The Gophers scored 35 points in the opening day of the three-day meet.

11 of the nation's top 25 teams are participating the meet. The top of the leader board is tight, with four teams within 14 points of first place. Stanford leads the meet with 177 points, followed by UCLA with 173.5 points, Arizona with 170.5 points and Texas with 163 points.
