MEN'S SWIMMING MOVES UP IN NATIONAL POLL

MinnThe University men's swimming and diving team is ranked no. 16 by the United States Swimming Coaches Association. The Golden Gophers moved up two spots in the poll, which was released on Dec. 14. Minnesota's previous ranking was no. 18 in the Nov. 30 poll.

The Golden Gophers are off for the holidays. The swimming team will be in Florida and the diving team will be in Hawaii for their annual training trips over most of the break. Competition resumes on January 19-20 at the Dallas Morning News Invitational.
