BRADEN, RECKNOR LEAD GOPHERS TO FIRST SOFTBALL WIN

Minnesota scored four runs in the first inning, capped by a three-run home run by Braden, her first of the season. Braden also drove in a run with a single in Minnesota's three-run fifth inning. Recknor pitched a complete game for her first collegiate victory, scattering six hits in seven innings.
The Gophers will play #24 Missouri at 1 p.m. and Louisville at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Metrodome.
