WRESTLERS COMPETE AT DAVE SCHULTZ MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT

Damion Hahn of Lakewood, N.J., redshirt freshman Garrett Lowney of Appleton, Wis., former Golden Gopher Chad Kraft of Lakefield, Minn., and former Golden Gopher Tim Hartung of Durand, Wis., all competed.
Lowney was the lone wrestler to compete in the Greco-Roman division. The five-time Junior National Champion placed third after defeating Tsolak Yeghishyan of Armenia 5-2 at 213.75 pounds.
In freestyle competition, Hahn placed fourth after losing to Aaron Simpson of Tempe, Ariz., at 187.25 pounds. Also placing in freestyle was Tim Hartung in fourth place after dropping a match to Serhii Priadun of Ukraine 9-2 at 213.75 pounds. Placing fifth was Chad Kraft at 167.5 pounds.
