LEMESURIER TIED FOR THIRD IN PUERTO RICO CLASSIC

University of Minnesota senior All-American Martin LeMesurier is in a tie for third individually after two days of the Puerto Rico Classic at the Rio Mar Country Club in Rio Mar, Puerto Rico. The 15-team tournament is hosted by Purdue University.
LeMesurier followed his opening day 70 with another two-under par score of 70, placing him three shots behind leader Bryce Molder of Georgia Tech.
Georgia Tech holds a two-stroke lead over Clemson in the team portion of the event after 36 holes. Minnesota is in 15th place as a team, 32 strokes behind the Yellowjackets.
The Golden Gophers will conclude play in the 54-hole event with 18 holes on Tuesday morning.
