NINE GYMNASTS QUALIFY FOR NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS THIS WEEKEND

The Golden Gophers will have five individuals competing on the pommel horse, four on both the parallel bars and horizontal bar, three on the floor exercise and still rings, two on the vault and one in the all-around. Sophomore Justin Conner (Dallas, Texas) will be competing in the all-around for the Golden Gophers. Freshman Clay Strother (Jasper, Texas) will be competing in five of the six events while Todd Guilbeau (Houston, Texas) will be competing in four of the six events.
The all-around qualifying begins Thursday with the finalist competing in the all-around championships on Friday evening at 7 p.m. The individual-event preliminaries will be held on Friday evening at 7 p.m. with the event finals to be held on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.
