SWIMMING AND DIVING QUALIFIES TWO EVENTS FOR THE NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS

The 200-yard medley relay team of Alex Massura, Dov Malnik, Chad Krastins and Ricardo Dornelas swam a time of 1:28.03 to earn an NCAA provisional time. The time is currently the 12-ranked time in the country.
Junior Keam Ang clocked a time of 49.83 in the 100-yard butterfly. Chris Brunson swam a time of 58.77 in the 100-yard backstroke.
Penn State University had NCAA qualifying times in the 200 medley relay and the 800 free relay.
Alex Massura, Ricardo Dornelas, Jeff Hackler and Yoav Meiri all qualified for the NCAA's in their prospective events earlier in the year. Massura in the 100 and 200 backstroke, Dornelas in the 50 freestyle, Hackler in the 200 breaststroke and Meiri in the 200 butterfly.
The University of Minnesota will host the 2000 NCCA Swimming and Diving Championships on March 23-25 at the University Aquatic Center.
