There are five teams within six shots of the team lead, currently held by North Carolina State with a 36-hole team total of four-over par 580. East Tennessee State and North Florida are tied for second, four shots behind the Wolfpack, with totals of 584. Wake Forest is fourth at 585, with the Golden Gophers at 10-over par 586.
Minnesota holds three individuals in the top 15, as McLean was joined by junior Dave Gunderson of Stillwater, Minn., (76-69-145, 12th) and freshman Wilhelm Schauman (71-75-146, 15th). Gunderson's 69 was the third-best round of the day on the par 72, 6,776-yard golf course. Chris Wisler of East Tennessee State leads the individual portion of the event after a two-round total of seven-under par 137.
