MEN'S HOCKEY TEAM HANDS OUT AWARDS AT ANNUAL BANQUET

Seniors captain Nate Miller, along with classmates Ryan Trebil, Rico Pagel, Dave Spehar, and Mike Lyons were recognized for their contributions to the Golden Gopher men's hockey program over the course of the last four seasons.
Junior forward Erik Westrum of Apple Valley, Minn., was named the team's John Mariucci Most Valuable Player winner for the 1999-2000 season, while freshman Jeff Taffe of Hastings, Minn., was awarded with the Frank Pond Rookie of the Year honor.
Senior Ryan Trebil was named the John Mayasich Outstanding Student-Athlete award winner. Trebil, who will graduate in May with a degree in biology, is one of five seniors who will all receive their degrees either following the current semester or at the conclusion of fall semester next school year.
Listed below are all the team award winners for the 1999-2000 season. Awards are voted on by members of the team, coaching staff, and support staff.
