MEN'S GOLFERS FALL TO FOURTH AT BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Golden Gophers were led by senior All-American Martin LeMesurier of South Hampton, England, who is in a tie for 12th individually after a one-over par third-round score of 73 for a 54-hole total of eight-over par 224. Freshman Wilhelm Schauman is among eight golfers tied for 15th at nine-over par 225.
Northwestern, the defending team champion, holds a commanding 27-shot lead heading into Sunday's final 18 holes. The Wildcats are at six-over par 870 as a team, with Penn State and Purdue currently tied for second place at 897. The Golden Gophers are just one shot out of second place at 898. There are six teams grouped within five strokes of each other between second and seventh place.
A pair of Northwestern golfers, senior Jess Daley and defending NCAA Champion Luke Donald, share the individual lead at three-under par 213 after 54 holes. Michael Harris of Michigan is in third place, five shots off the pace at two-over par 218.
The teams will conclude play in the tournament with 18 holes on Sunday morning.
