GOLDEN GOPHER MEN'S BASKETBALL SCHEDULE SET FOR 2000-2001

The Golden Gophers will face teams from the powerful Atlantic Coast, Southeastern and Big 12 Conferences as well as Conference USA. In addition, Minnesota will compete in the Hawaii Pacific Thanksgiving Classic in Honolulu, Nov. 24-26. The regular season schedule tips off Nov. 17 vs. UNC-Greensboro at Williams Arena.
Minnesota's Big Ten schedule starts Jan. 3 at Illinois with the conference home opener set for Jan. 6 against Wisconsin.
