TMinnesota senior forward Nadine Muzerall has been invited to attend Canada's National Women's Team Evaluation Camp, Oct. 3-9, in Calgary, Alberta.

The camp roster is made up of 34 of Canada's top players, including 19 of the 21 members of the 2000 World Championship team.

The camp is another step in the seven-month process of evaluating players for the 2001 Women's World Championships, to be held in Minneapolis in April. Players from the camp will also be chosen to represent Canada at the Four Nations Cup in November, and a January tour.

Last season, Muzerall led the Gophers to the American Women's College Hockey Alliance National Championship, leading the nation in goals (49), power-play goals (16) and game-winning goals (9). She was a first-team All- WCHA and AWCHA all-tournament selection.

Minnesota opens its season Oct. 14-15, facing St. Cloud State in a home-and-home series. The Gophers will be in St. Cloud for the first game of the series before returning home for game two. Both games are slated for 3:05 p.m. faceoffs.
