Vogt, who finished with a school-record 59 saves in the game, stopped 97 of 104 shots for the weekend and was unbeatable through the first two periods Sunday, stopping 42 shots in the first 40 minutes.
However, it took the Gophers just 40 seconds into the third period to score as Ambria Thomas converted a La Toya Clarke rebound to break the ice.
Ronda Curtin converted on the power play at 7:08 of the final period and Tracy Engstrom scored on another rebound with 6:11 to play to round out the scoring.
Minnesota rookie netminder Stephanie Johnson, making just her third collegiate start, made nine saves to pick up her first career shutout.
The Gophers are in action next weekend with a pair of exhibition games against the U.S. Select Team. Both games, Jan. 19-20, get underway at 7:05 p.m. at Mariucci Arena.
