LAATSCH SHINES IN INTRASQUAD MEET

SpoGolden Gopher freshman Annie Laatsch won three individual events and the all around competition in Minnesota's annual intrasquad meet Tuesday at the Sports Pavilion.

Laatsch won the uneven bars with a score of 9.725. She tied for first on the balance beam (9.70) and floor exercise (9.75). She placed first in the all around with a total of 38.475.

The Golden Gophers recorded a team score of 191.775.

Minnesota opens the regular season by hosting Ohio State on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Sports Pavilion.
