Two minutes into overtime the Wildcats scored again to end the game and to end Northwestern's four-game losing streak.

Northwestern outshot Minnesota 15-8. The teams had a total of four corner kicks apiece and 22 fouls each.

Senior goalkeeper Julie Eibensteiner (North Oaks, Minn./Totino Grace) recorded six saves while the opponent goalie had none.

Minnesota will head to Wisconsin on Sunday, Oct. 14, to face the University of Wis. Badgers at 1 p.m.
