WOMEN'S SWIMMING AND DIVING HOST ANNUAL ALUMNAE MEET

Sarah Bohlsen led the Gophers by winning the 50-yard freestyle (24.63) and 100 butterfly (57.68), and took second in the 50 butterfly (25.93). Junior Keri Hehn won the 50 breaststroke (30.34), while senior Sara Rutkowski came away with the win in the 50 backstroke (28.28). Junior Holly Henneman was the top Gopher woman finisher placing fourth with 209 points in the mixed diving on any board competition.

The Gopher alumnae took the meet by winning both the 200 medley relay and the 200 freestyle relay. Former Gopher Katy Christopherson (1997- 2001) won 100 IM (59.41) and took second in the 25 backstroke (11.30). Gopher alumnae Meghan Sonstegard placed first in the 25 backstroke with a time of 11.22 seconds.

Minnesota hosts their first dual match-up of the season by hosting Iowa State on Saturday, October 27 at 7 p.m. at the University Aquatic Center.
