MINNESOTA MEN'S GOLF TIES FOR THIRD AT ADAMS CUP

Individually, sophomores Justin Smith and Simon Nash were the top Golden Gopher golfers finishing in a tie for fifth at 214 (+3), seven shots behind tournament champion Mark Donnell of Vanderbilt. Junior Wilhelm Schauman tied for 19th at 218 (+7) and junior Matt Anderson shot a 1-under 70 today to climb to 34th at 221 (+10). Sophomore Garrett Clegg finished in a tie for 63rd at 225 (+14).
The Gophers are back in action on Oct. 22-23 at the Tillinghast Invitational in Scarsdale, N.Y.
