Wu Concludes Day One of NCAA Regionals in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio. - Minnesota's Chun-Ta Wu wrapped up the first round of the NCAA Columbus Regional Monday from the Ohio State University Golf Club.
Wu shot 4-over-par (75) on the day, tying for 42nd place among the field. He recorded two birdies on holes 10 and 18. The sophomore currently is tied for sixth place among all competing individuals after the first 18 holes.
No. 2 Florida sits in first place with a score of 7-under-par (277). Parker Sands of Florida leads the field with a score of 5-under-par (66). Among the 10 individual golfers participating, Paul Beauvy of Iowa State has carded the best mark of 1-over-par (72).
