SWIMMERS PLACE THIRD AT MINNESOTA INVITATIONAL

Sophomore Juleen Rodakowski placed second in the 200-yard butterfly with a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 2:03.16. Junior Keri Hehn swam a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 2:17.13 in the 200 breaststroke, placing first in the event. Three Gophers have provisionally qualified in five events for the 2002 NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas.
Junior diver Holly Hanneman placed fifth in the platform diving competition, scoring a NCAA Zone qualifying point total of 371.45. Senior Erin Prasse finished sixth in the event with a total of 340.35 points.
Sophomore Megan Moore placed second in the 200 backstroke with a season best time of 2:02.39. The time is a team season best. Junior Dana Baum placed fifth in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 17:01.62, while senior Kristin Rygg finished eighth in the event (17:14.82).
Up next, the Gophers travel to Athens, Georgia to compete in the Georgia Invitational on Friday-Sunday, Nov. 30-Dec. 2.
