RYCHART NAMED BIG TEN CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK

avSenior forward Dusty Rychart was named co-Big Ten Player of the Week for his play last week against Wake Forest and UT-Pan American. Rychart nearly averaged a double-double producing 20.0 points and 9.5 rebounds while shooting 59.3 percent from the floor. The senior co-captain opened the week with his first double-double of the season, and 15th of his career, with 22 points and 13 boards in a narrow loss at Wake Forest in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. Rychart followed that performance by recording 18 points, on 8-of-12 shooting, and six rebounds in just 23 minutes in a win over Texas-Pan American. He is averaging 13.0 points on 55.3 percent shooting so far this year to rank second on the team in both categories. It is the third player of the week honor for Rychart in his career.
