NATIONAL CHAMPION WRESTLING TEAM AWARDS BANQUET SET FOR APRIL 4

The 2001 NCAA Champion University of Minnesota wrestling team hosts its annual Awards Banquet Wednesday, April 4, at 6 p.m. at the Four Points Sheraton Minneapolis Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minn.
The event features various team awards, senior speeches, a video presentation and an outlook to the much-anticipated 2001-02 season. The banquet is open to all fans and supporters of the Golden Gopher wrestling program.
The cost of the event is $25 per person with the social hour beginning at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. and the awards presentation at 8 p.m. Friends of the Minnesota wrestling team are encouraged to sponsor wrestlers, mat aids and cheerleaders.
