WOMEN'S GOLF FINISHES 16th AT NCAA CENTRAL REGIONAL

Tulsa shot a 313 as a team Saturday and finished with a three-round total of 904, two shots better than Purdue and six shots ahead of third-place Texas. New Mexico State, Oklahoma State, Louisiana State, Kent State and California were the other teams to qualify for the NCAA Cahmpionship, beginning May 22. Minnesota finished 28 strokes behind the Golden Bears, the final qualifier for the NCAA Tournament.
Individually, Purdue's Kari Damron shot a even-par 216 for the three rounds to be the low individual of the regional. Minnesota's Jenny Bruun had the Gophers' low score for the three rounds, finishing with a three-round total of 237 and placing 36th.
