SCHMITT TAKES SIXTH AT USA OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

weekFormer Gopher Aubrey Schmitt took sixth in the discus, throwing 178- feet, 1-inch, at the 2001 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships this past weekend in Eugene, Oregon.
Schmitt's throw earned her a place on the 2001 World University Team, who will compete in Beijing, China on August 21-September 1 at the World Student Games.
