STORDAHL EARNS ACADEMIC HONOR

student-athletUniversity of Minnesota golfer Karyn Stordahl was named to the National Golf Coaches Association All-Scholar Team. The award is given to student-athletes of sophomore or higher standing with a cumulative grade point average of 3.4 or better and who played in at least 60 percent of their team's tournament during the season.
Stordahl, a sophomore from Owatonna, Minn., maintains a 3.96 GPA in a business communications major. Her top finish this season was a sixth- place showing at the Big Ten Tournament. She also helped the Gophers advance to NCAA Tournament for just the fifth time in school history. Stordahl is a two-time letterwinner and earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2001.
