2001-02 GOLDEN GOPHER MEN'S BASKETBALL SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

The non-conference slate is highlighted by nationally televised games at Wake Forest on Nov. 27, as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge and at home against Oregon on Dec. 10. Minnesota's Big Ten schedule starts Jan. 2 at Illinois with the conference home opener set for Jan. 5 against Michigan State. The Golden Gophers will begin practice on Friday, Oct. 12 with the return of "Midnight Madness" at Williams Arena.
