GOPHER WOMEN FALL TO NINTH AT LADY NORTHERN

Gopher sophomore Karyn Stordahl shot a 1-under par 71 on Saturday to move from 27th place after the first round into a tie for 12th place after the second. Stordahl has s two-round total of 148, just four strokes off the individual leader, Michigan's Le Anna Wicks' score of 144.
Rookie Tai Kinney shaved five strokes in the second round to score a 2-over par 74 and is tied with teammate Kirstin Whalen for 35th place at 153. Other Gophers competing are Cindy Cannon tied for 42nd at 155, Karen Quintelier tied for 46th at 157 and Terra Petsinger tied for 69th at 165.
The Lady Northern concludes with 18 holes on Sunday at 9 a.m.
