STELLAR PERFOMANCES AT ROY GRIAK INVITATIONAL

Badgers The University of Minnesota men's cross country team placed 17th out of 36 teams in today's Roy Griak Invitational with 415 points, as sixth-ranked Wisconsin took the team title with 129. The Badgers' Matt Tegenkamp won the individual title in an 8K time of 23:58, while junior Will McComb was the Golden Gophers' top finisher coming in 17th (24:35). McComb's time was the third fastest in school history on a Minnesota course, behind Lloyd Ness' 24:16 at the 1981 Big Ten Championships.
