BIG TEN INDOOR TRACK & FIELD TICKETS NEARLY GONE

Just 150 tickets remain for the 2002 Big Ten Indoor Men's Track & Field Championships, hosted by the University of Minnesota Feb. 23-24. The two-day event at the University Field House is expected to sell out prior to the start of competition for the first time ever, so advance ticket purchase is strongly encouraged.

This year's championship promises to be one of the most outstanding in recent memory with the Minnesota Golden Gophers vying for the second title in five years. The meet will also showcase Michigan freshman Alan Webb, who will be looking to run the first ever indoor sub-four minute mile in the state of Minnesota.

A two-day adult pass is $10, while a two-day student pass is $7. There will be a $4 handling charge per order. To purchase tickets or for more information, contact the University of Minnesota Ticket Office at (612) 624-8080 or 1-800-UGOPHER (846-7437).
