Utecht Named To CNNSI.com's Midseason All-America Team

nativGolden Gopher tight end Ben Utecht was named to CNNSI.com's 2002 Midseason All-America team. The junior Hastings, Minn., native currently leads the Gophers in receptions (25) and is second in receiving yards with 324. With four games remaining, Utecht has already set a career high for receiving yards, surpassing his total of 314 last season. Utecht is ranked sixth in school history in career touchdown receptions with 12, including five from this season.
