Women's Golf Completes Second Round of Georgia Tournament

Minnesota carded a team total of 318 in the second round after scoring 323 in the opening round, compiling a total of 641 and entering the final round in 17th place. Florida shot an even-par 288 on Saturday to take over the team lead at 589, one stroke ahead of second-place Auburn.
Mississippi State's Anna Gertsson maintained the individual lead, scoring a 2-under par 70 on Saturday. She enters the final round at 3-under par 141 and with a two-stroke lead.
Tai Kinney (82-78) and Karyn Stordahl (79-81) are tied for 59th place at 160 to pace the Gophers. Kinney carded a team-low 78 on Saturday.
Other Gophers competing are Kirstin Whalen tied for 65th at 162 (83-79), Terra Petsinger, tied for 71st at 164 (79-85), Cindy Cannon tied for 73rd at 165 (85-80).
