Harrigan Advances to 60-Meter Finals at Indoor Nationals

placeTahesia Harrigan advanced to the 60-meter dash finals at the 2002 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Fayetteville, Ark. with her fifth place preliminary finish of 7.30 seconds.
The sophomore from the British Virgin Islands ran the fastest time of her career and the fastest time in Minnesota history in the 60-meter dash to place second in her heat and fifth overall, advancing her to the finals on Saturday, March 9 at 7:05 p.m.
Harrigan's appearance at the NCAA Championships marks the first time in Minnesota history that a sprinter has ran in an individual event at indoor nationals.
