University of Minnesota Athletes to Thank Students at Spring Jam

NorthropAs part of the week-long festivities of the University of Minnesota's annual Spring Jam, Golden Gopher student-athletes will take part of the Gopher Fan Fest Friday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Northrop Plaza.

During the Gopher Fan Fest, athletes will sign autographs for 45-minute shifts and provide a free thank-you lunch. Also taking place are interactive games with prizes. Minnesota mascot Goldy Gopher will be on hand, and radio station 101.3 KDWB will broadcast live from the event.

Athletes scheduled to appear include Mike Lehan from football, Rhonda Curtin from women's hockey, Maurice Hargrow from men's basketball, Kadidja Andersson from women's basketball and Clay Strother from men's gymnastics.
