Women's Golf Finishes 13th at Shootout at the Legends

Individually, the Gophers were led by junior Terra Petsinger (Arvilla, N.D./Larimore), who finished tied for 10th place at 4-over 22, after a final round 73 on Tuesday. It was Petsinger's third top-10 finish in four fall tournaments. Sophomore Sarah Butler (Roseau, Minn./Roseau) tied for with rounds of 72-76-79=227 (+11). Senior Katie Jacobson (Grand Forks, N.D./Red River) tied for 58th place at 236 (+20), after carding three rounds in the 70s. Freshman Louise Fleming (Kelso, Roxburghshire, Scotland/Kelso) fired a 77 in the third round, her best round as a collegian, and finished tied for 69th at 22-over 238. Sophomore Jessica Thomas (Esko, Minn./Esko) finished tied 87th at 252 (+36).
