Women's Golf Finishes Seventh at Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational

Senior Karyn Stordahl (Owatonna, Minn./Owatonna) shot a final round of 5-over 77 to tie for 16th place with a total of 154 (+10). Fellow senior Kirstin Whalen (Elk River, Minn./Elk River) earned her highest placement of the season, tying for 21st with scores of 78-77- -155 (+11). Sophomore Terra Petsinger (Arvilla, N.D./Larimore) tied for 37th at 16-over-par 160. Freshman Sarah Butler (Roseau, Minn./Roseau) totaled 161 (+17) to tie for 40th place, while junior Katie Jacobson (Grand Forks, N.D./Montana) finished tied for 52nd at 21-over 165.
The Golden Gophers will next compete Mar. 17-19 in the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in Oahu, Hawaii.
