Women's Golf Finishes Seventh At Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational

Minnesota was led by sophomore Terra Petsinger (Arvilla, N.D./Larimore) and senior Karyn Stordahl (Owatonna, Minn./Owatonna) who finished in a tie for 22nd place. Petsinger shot rounds of 80-74-82-236 while Stordahl shot 78-79-79-236. Senior Kirstin Whalen (Elk River, Minn./Elk River) finished in a tie for 30th place (79-80-81-240). Freshman Sarah Butler (Roseau, Minn./Roseau) fired her top round of the tournament with a 78 to finish in a tie for 38th place (79-86-78-243). Junior Katie Jacobson (Grand Forks, N.D./Montana) finished in a tie for 69th (86-85-84-255).
Minnesota returns to action April 5-6 at the Indiana Invitational in Bloomington, Ind.
