The University of Minnesota women's soccer team (2-1-1) hosts Western Illinois (0-3-0) on Friday night at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium. The match begins at 7 p.m.
The Golden Gophers have gone 7-0-1 in their last eight home non-conference matches. Minnesota opens Big Ten play next weekend at home vs. Purdue and Indiana.
