Golden Gopher Men's Hockey Television Schedule Released

The season kicks off on Fox Sports North on Friday-Saturday, Oct. 10-11, as the two-time defending NCAA champion Golden Gophers head to Omaha, Neb., for the UNO Stampede. Minnesota battles 2002 national finalist Maine in the season-opener on Oct. 10, at 5:05 p.m. Fox Sports will broadcast Minnesota's home opener against Minnesota-Duluth on Friday, Oct. 24, at 7:05 p.m. That night, the Golden Gophers will unveil their 2003 NCAA Championship banner at Mariucci Arena.
Both games of the College Hockey Showcase - Nov. 28 at Michigan State and Nov. 29 at Michigan - will be broadcasted. The following games will not be televised: Oct. 24 vs. Minnesota-Duluth, Nov. 22 vs. Michigan Tech, Dec. 5-6 at Alaska Anchorage, Dec. 11 vs. Latvian National Team (exh.), Dec. 20 vs. Princeton and Feb. 27 at Denver.
The broadcast team for Golden Gopher hockey on Fox Sports North is play-by-play announcer Frank Mazzacco and analyst Doug Woog.
