Swimming and Diving Competes At Alumni Meet

On the women's side, freshman Emma Sinkler won the 100 back in 1:00.71. Junior Katherine Marshall won the 100 breast in 1:07.69 and Senior Katy Coombe claimed the 100 free in 52.64. Sophomore Jennifer Hasling won the 25 free, 50 free and 50 back. Junior Kate Hardt swam a 1:00.49 to win the 100 individual medley.
In men's action, senior Justin Mortimer coasted to the win in the 200 free in 1:40.97. Freshman David Plummer was impressive in the 100 back, winning in 51.25 while senior Terry Silkaitis won the 50 free in 20.69. Junior Adam Mitchell won the 100 individual medley in 51.43.
The women's team opens the regular season October 29 at Iowa State while the men's team opens its season on October 29 at Florida.
